Can you play blue ray player through a all-in-one home theater system that is set up for dvd? - dvd home system
Would you consider a blue ray player and connect it to a DVD in a home theater system. You get the blue ray video with surround sound? Or is my DVD player to hook the speakers and blue ray?

If your HTS has an input / PDIF (AUX), then you can contact the excavations in touch. BD player audio output and surround sound through them.
Otherwise, there is nothing you can do.
If the Blu-Ray at (and I did not bet) just plug it into your system. The tone will sound.
